BIRTHDAY November 19

Specialty or area of expertise that you would like to share with Woman Up Hawaii? All sorts of photography: events, weddings, engagement, professional headshots, infant, family portrait...you name it!

Why are you here? Network, Job Seeker, Inspiration, Motivation

Professional Organizations: Does the U.S.Army count?

Favorite Quotes: Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you./// "You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails"

Proudest Moment: Photography Related: I was recently publish in Go Kailua and got a full page out of it! Very excited! Life Related: The day I married my sweet husband and the day I took my oath to the US Army!

Personal Mission Statement: A little bit of real-life inspiration: I fully believe the Lord will guide each step you take if you allow him! Resist and you'll encounter even more bumps than He's already put in your road to mold you! I'm guilty of it and exasperated already tough roads. I am grateful for my bumps...and mountains... God has thrown at me...embarrassed about some, but nevertheless God can make all things good. I am blessed to overcome, keep going, and to grow! Have you heard that song "If you're going through hell keep on going" by Rodney Atkins? That was my motto while I was deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan and have applied it to other circumstances! Sometimes we lose sight and closeness on our end with that "man in the sky", but don't worry he never leaves us.

Your best offering to Woman Up Hawaii Members: A woman that never gives up regardless of what is thrown into her path. If in any way I can serve someone else or encourage them I am THERE. Encouragement for women who are trying to figure out their purpose... because we can all agree that can get fuzzy!

Who referred you to Woman Up Hawaii? Feel free to give them a raving review as well!!! Sloane Ketcham! She has been an amazing mentor, friend, inspiration, and example. Couldn't have been more blessed to have stumbled just at the right time upon such a kind and inspirational person who genuinely cares for others!

  • "I'm sorry, what do you do again?"

Ever get asked that question and find yourself explaining yet again to the same person who then gazes down at their cell phone while you spit out "well, I started this company based on .......' and the rest is left drifting in and out of their ears...again? This happens often. I've witnessed it, I'm a victim of it and I'm guilty of it.…

  • Sunday. There's no better day than Sunday to plan the work.

It's not typical of entrepreneurs to have actual "working hours," I mean we're always working right? Sure there are set times to meet clients, arrange inventory, complete projects which all leads to the continual development and growth of our individual empires but in actuality we are always in work mode, if we're not doing it we're definitely thinking about doing it, or thinking about what we need to think about to get us…

  • Looking back to when I was a teenager I realize that I was always destined for entrepreneur-ism. At 18 years old I was introduced to a business mentor and ever since was obsessed with the idea of owning a business where I could get paid to work with and help others. His first lesson/piece of advice…
